Patogenous Power, 2004

Welcome to Patogenous Power, a series that explores the intersection of technology, connectivity, and human identity. This work invites viewers to reflect on how, while technology and interconnectedness have become increasingly accessible worldwide, the richness of human connection is often reduced to fleeting messages and AI-driven interactions. I use human hair as pigment to print computer ports on Skinscapes. In a world where the human voice is overshadowed by automation, these pieces challenge us to reconsider the true essence of communication, intimacy, and individuality in an age dominated by digital mediation.
