ENTANGLED DESIRES, 2014-2024
Welcome to Entangled Desires, a series inspired by the myth of Medusa. Here, I combine silicon and pigments to create jellyfish-like creatures and anthropomorphic figures to explore themes of empathy and connection. By reimagining Medusa’s story, I invite you to reflect on your own experiences and consider the power of seeing things from another person’s perspective. The tangled forms symbolize our shared emotions and struggles, encouraging you to acknowledge your shadows. When we truly understand each other, we can build compassion and stronger, more meaningful relationships. This work invites you to explore how our connections shape the world around us.
